PriceWrite was classically trained by a concert pianist for 8 years.  Composed beats such as those found on the songs Spray Can Shake, Empty Bottle and Real Eyes reflect this musical background.

When sampling, the styles are diverse.  One Sweet Day is a positive vibe, Been Through is funky and Fireworks has that east coast sound.  Abstract sounds can be heard on Freak Show.

After watching Dapper Dan obliterate emcee after emcee in many battles, Price and Dan linked up. Dapper Dan’s styles are just as diverse as Price’s beats.  Dark lyrics can be heard on Alice from the upcoming album.  Warlords is on the battle tip and Empty Bottle brings you into a timeframe in Dapper’s own world.

Dapper and Price found Midknight The Acquaintance : one of few emcees around that can give Dap a run for his money on the writing tip.  On the song The Truth Is Midknight drops words you feel in your chest.  Right now, all three of them are working on a collab album.  There is also Dapper’s 2nd album in the works and a solo album by Midknight.  On top of that, PriceWrite’s compilation album is finished but waiting to be released.

The group ran into E.G. and Godfather of Ketch-More Entertainment (from upstate NY) at an outdoor event in downtown Phoenix.  After rocking together and getting a good vibe going everyone decided to start collabing.  E.G. just like Dapper Dan and Midknight can write on many topics and has mastered his own styles.
